    CoSMIC VERSION: Nightly Build 2011-07-03

    HOST MACHINE and OPERATING SYSTEM:
Windows XP Professional SP 3

    TOOL/AREA/CLASS/EXAMPLE AFFECTED:
PICML

    DOES THE PROBLEM AFFECT:
        EXECUTION?

    SYNOPSIS:
Deployment Plan Generator fails with Success Message

    DESCRIPTION:
Dear CoSMIC community,
when I try to generate a deployment plan out of a (validated) model, I get a
success Message Box from the DANCE Deployment Plan Generator saying
"Successfully generated deployment plan descriptors", but afterwards there's
no new file in the folder I specified (c:\temp). I've tried that with various
models, including an empty one, same result.
The same issue has been reported by Michael Frommberger in April under version
0.8.3 / GME 10.2.9. If there is a solution for his problem, it should also
solve mine.
If you think it might be a problem with my model, please send me an example
model that is supposed to work (the import of the included "Hello" example
with the version I'm using).

    REPEAT BY:
- Run GME 10.8.18
- File->New Project
- Doubleclick on "PICML" paradigm
- Click "Next"
- enter new model name
- define model (or do nothing for empty model)
- Click the "P" button in the toolbar
- click "Browse" and choose target folder
- click "OK"
- success message is displayed
- afterwards, there isn't any new or modified file within the folder specified earlier
