You won't be able to listen such an "event", since the MGA layer has 
nothing to do with GUI elements and messages.
I'm working on a new feature, which will enable the user to edit her 
multiline attributes in an (arbitrary) external editor program. Other 
than this we don't have plans to extend the attribute panel.
