[gme-users] an example of class equivalence?

A simple motivating example that I can think off for your paper would be to
have two metamodel libraries

1.	A dataflow paradigm with 'Component' as the base class
2.	A Stateflow paradigm with 'State' as the base class

Now if you want to compose state based and data flow behavior in one
paradigm you can reuse these libraries and make the State <=> to Component.

I don't think it has been used. I guess the reason is because library
metamodels themselves haven't been used quite a lot.

Kitty, was trying to use library metamodels quite a bit and he might have an
example.

Thanks,
Adi

Sure, I was just looking for a real-world case where someone actually used
the operator to stick in a paper I'm writing. Maybe even a project or
something I could cite or otherwise reference.

I can imagine a use case when two metamodels are composed (through the
library feature), and you'd like to unite two concepts from the two
languages using this operator.

Does anyone ever use the MetaGME Class Equivalence operator to union FCOs,
Atoms, Models, etc.? Even in the publications on metamodel composition with
GME that I have been able to find, no example use-case for Class Equivalence
is provided. Does anyone have a motivating example for this operator?

Thanks,
Matt
