Hi James,

I think this is a VC bug. I had the same kind of error when I was messing
around
with a CIAO version of the MOF spec, and had huge DLLs. I have a patch from
Microsoft on my desktop for VC 7.1. If that's the version you're using, I
can send
it to you.

Jeff

Subject: [gme-users] BON object files too large!!!!

Hey folks,

Does anyone know how to "effectively" resolve the error below???

====================
fatal error C1128: object file format limit exceeded : more than 65,279
sections
PICMLBON : error PRJ0002 : error result returned from 'cl.exe'.
====================

Apparently, if you extend every object in a LARGE metamodel (e.g. PICML)
this error is caused. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

James
