am fairly new to both GReAT and OTIF, but it seems to me that with a few
modifications, GReAT should be able to generate a translator for OTIF.
Has anyone given any thought to implementing this idea? What issues would
need to be addressed to make this happen?</span></font></p>
<p><b><i><font size=3 color=navy face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt;color:navy;font-weight:bold;font-style:italic'>[Adi] </span></font></i></b><font
color=navy><span style='color:navy'>The Code Generator (CG) in GReAT produces
UDM based code. The generated code consists of two parts (1) The
transformations in the form of C++ classes and (2) a main file used to call the
transformation. The transformation classes can be used in <b><i><span
style='font-weight:bold;font-style:italic'>a hand written</span></i></b> OTIF
tool adapter and compiled with the OTIF compatible CORBA backend. A future
enhancement would be to optionally generate the OTIF tool adapter code as well.</span></font></p>
