Hi,

The problem is that this script is ancient and doesn't set LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
Please read ACE-INSTALL.html

Subject: [ace-users] Problem installing ACE in Kubuntu

	Hello.

I’m trying to install OpenDiameter in Kubuntu and when I try to
install ACE 5.5, one of the necessary things to install OpenDiameter, an
error happens:

	gmake[1]: Entering directory
`/usr/local/ACE_wrappers/apps/gperf/tests'

	GNUmakefile:
/usr/local/ACE_wrappers/apps/gperf/tests/GNUmakefile.cppinset MAKEFLAGS=w

	g++ -fvisibility=hidden -fvisibility-inlines-hidden -W -Wall
-Wpointer-arith -O3 -g -pipe -pipe -D_REENTRANT -DACE_HAS_AIO_CALLS
-D_GNU_SOURCE -I/usr/local/ACE_wrappers -DACE_HAS_EXCEPTIONS
-D__ACE_INLINE__ -I../../.. -c -o .obj/test.o test.cpp

../../../bin/gperf: error while loading shared libraries:
libACE.so.5.5.10: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

	gmake[1]: *** [cpp.cpp] Error 127

	gmake: *** [cppinset] Error 2

	../../../bin/gperf -a -D cpp.gperf > cpp.cpp

	gmake[1]: Leaving directory
`/usr/local/ACE_wrappers/apps/gperf/tests'

It says that couldn't find libACE.so.5.5.10, but why?!?! This is the
installation script (ACE-install.sh).

Can you help me? How do I install ACE? Or how do I install only the
libraries, since I don't need ACE tests, the examples, and the sample
applications??

	Best regards,

	André Petinga
