[Ace-users] [ace-announce] Announcing the release of OpenDDS version 1.0

OCI has released OpenDDS version 1.0.  OpenDDS is an open source
C++ implementation of the Object Management Group (OMG) Data
Distribution Service (DDS) specification.  OpenDDS leverages the
Adaptive Communication Environment (ACE) to enable cross platform
development of high-performance publish/subscribe systems.

OpenDDS has been in beta status for over a year and, through the
investments of OCI and its clients, has reached the point where it
is able to join the suite of robust open source middleware
products supported by OCI.

We hope ACE and TAO users will be able to take advantage of
OpenDDS in their environments.  OCI provides the same level of
support and development services for OpenDDS as it does for TAO
