[EISA] Compiling XSC

Hi James;
I have been successful at checking out XSC with --ignore-externals command 
line option.  When I attempt to compile XSC I see the following 
warning/errors.

MPC_ROOT was set to /proj/omea/middleware/ACE_TAO_CIAO/ACE_wrappers/MPC.

DDS_ROOT was used in the configuration file, but was not defined.
