I also have to add that changing the CLASSPATH environment variable 
doesn't seem to solve the problem. If I run an interpreter with the 
following code:

JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null, 
System.getProperty("java.class.path","."));

All that I get when executing it is "C:\Program files\GME\SDK\Java\\gme.jar"
