I can recommend creating a raw component with createnewcomponent.exe (in
GME/SDK dir). It is a good start for learning COM, by trying a COM
interpreter.
The interface to GME is described in GME/Interfaces directory. 
So if you would like to enhance the sample COM interpreter, see Mga.idl
for method of IMgaModel, IMgaFCO.
