The objects' different placement in two aspects might cause something
similar. Is that the case?
Try to use: Edit menu/Sync Aspects...

Subject: [gme-users] vertical ordering of ports changes on reference to
model?
Hi,
I apologize in advance if this issue has been asked/addressed before; I
was unable to find anything on this topic in the gme-users archive but I
may have missed it....
I'm using a metamodel where I describe models with a number of ports,
and then utilize references to those models in other places... When I go
to a view looking at the original model within a "mother" model, the
ports are all aligned on the side of the box in a vertical order that I
like. However, when I go to a view looking at a reference to the model,
they are in a different vertical order. It seems like every reference
to the model puts the ports in the same (undesirable) vertical
ordering....
I have the ports lined up nice in a straight vertical line in the
original model definition...
Also, I'm using GME 5.9.21...
Any ideas what might be happening here?
Thanks
-ace
