Joe,
The proper form for inquiry is: "/mynodes/subnodes/leafnode" [ starts
with a '/' !]
The return value is "" if no such node is not present.

Subject: [gme-users] BON RegistryNode Question
I have a quick question about BON::RegistryNode::getValueByPath( string
).
The documentation does not mention the format of the path string
( is it "Root\\Stuff\\Node3" or "Root/Stuff/Node3"), and
looking at the definition of the function in BONImpl.cpp, it's not clear
what
return value to expect if the path is not found. I assume it's either
an empty
string, or else an exception.
Is there anyone that could clarify these for me?
Thanks,
-Joe
