[gme-users] GME version in registry

The version is not stored in the windows registry.
Two supported approaches to get the version number:
- read it from %GME_ROOT%\Interfaces\GMEVersion.h
- create a "GME.Application" COM object (using VB, python, whatever)
and query its version property
