[gme-users] Lesson 8 Building Java Based Interpreters

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for helping me with questions that I have. Currently, I am
working on GME tutorials. I set the class path to the .class file for my
Eclipse project when I registered the component. I also set the class to
the package and the file name (gmetutorial.MyBONComponent). There seems to
still be a problem with enabling the component in GME. One thing that I
notice is that the Path is not displayed when I select Tools - Register
Components in GME.

Did I need to copy the JavaCompRegister.exe and JavaComRunner.dll into the
project directory, or do I need to run the executable in the project files
directory? Also, the tutorial stated that the example code was located in
game.jar, so I used that code for MyBONComponent.java. Am I missing a step?
