I think Joe may be asking if you can invoke the Library Update tool from a script; Joe, is this the case? If so, the answer is yes, and I can send an example of how to invoke interpreters from scripts if you need.

For simple cases, you can use the "Library update" tool that comes with GReAT. Just attach the A' meta using the MetaGME2UMT interpreter and use the library update tool on the GReAT transformation.
For more complex cases, we have been working on a "Transformation migration" tool. This is still in its early stages. Joe, I can show you how it works offline.

Subject: [great-users] Scripting migration
Is there an easy way to script the migration of a UMT transformation from one version of a domain to another?
i.e. given trans T from lang A to lang B
migrate to trans T from lang A' to lang B
(A' is a later version of A)
I know how to do this within GME, but is it possible from a script? If so, how would I do it?
Thanks,
-Joe
