[great-users] Strange error

We're getting the following error from a fairly simple GReAT transformation
-- 

Could not reach connecting port FCO through references to it's parent,
starting
from the connection object. Debug info:Parent model of the connection: Top,
name
 of peer: p1

There are no references involved in this match.  The match is found
correctly, and the error is thrown from the attempt to create a connection
object between the matched objects (which are ports on a concrete object,
not a reference).

I've attached the transformation model and a sample model that exercises it
(and the input paradigm).  Please let me know if you have any ideas.
