We plan to write one on QR to support design. I've never submitted something to this conference before. Which type of paper is best? Full 10pp? or short Abstract 2p?

Yes. Deadline is coming. Who will write? How many papers should we try?

Subject: Reminder for the CIE Symposium submission deadlines
Dear AVM Community:
As mentioned during the last PI meeting, the special symposium for DARPA AVM performers is now available for submission of papers for review and the deadline is approaching fast.
The symposium is part of the Computers and Information in Engineering Conference (CIE) and is numbered CIE-28 (Model-based Design and Verification of Complex and Large-Scale Systems). The full description can be accessed from:
http://www.asmeconferences.org/idetc2012/ <http://www.asmeconferences.org/idetc2012/CallForPapersDetail.cfm:
The authors are to follow the submission instructions as listed on the general IDETC/CIE web page. Abstracts are due February 6th (must be submitted to be able to submit a full paper, but it's just a placeholder, so it doesn't have to be the final abstract) and the full papers are due February 20th. There will not be any possibility to submit late papers as the webtool will be shutdown.
We're looking forward to your contributions!
Best regards,
Co-organizers:
---Irem Tumer, Oregon State University
---Oli DeWeck, MIT
