Jesse,

All subscribe port can be associated with a thread in process model,
which means that the subscribe port should be running within the
specified thread.

Hope this helps and please let us know any other question.

Thanks,
Feng

Subject: [Esml-users] Difference between a Timer and and a Thread?

Hi,

What does it mean for a component subscription port to be hooked up to a
Thread vs the port being hooked up to a Timer?

I understand that the Timer causes an event to be periodically delivered
to the subscription port. Does a Thread connected to a subscription
port also mean that an event is periodically delivered to the port?

Thanks,
Jesse
