VC++ 6.0 is a very old and tired compiler that lacks support for many
standard C++ features. Even Microsoft doesn't support it anymore,
which gives you an idea of how old it is..

In this case, I recommend you contact one of the companies listed at
http://www.dre.vanderbilt.edu/support.html
for commercial support. The DOC groups at Washington University, UC
Irvine, and Vanderbilt University only provide "best effort" support
for non-sponsors for the latest release, as described in
http://www.dre.vanderbilt.edu/~schmidt/DOC_ROOT/ACE/docs/ACE-bug-process.html
