[Ace-users] Cross vendor compability - TAO & OBExpress RT

Folks,

I'm investigating the use of TAO as an ORB client to interface to an
ORBExpress RT ORB server app.
I believe that the ORBExpress server application does not use any RT
extensions beyond what is in the current RT CORBA standard.
The server side application is developed on a Solaris/Gnat platform
and the application, Windows XP/C++.

I have read a paper put out by Boeing called "Real-time CORBA Trade
Study" and have gained some insight from it, but that documented is
dated to 2000.

Any information or comment would be much appreciated.
