Hi Simon,

Actually, to provide a little more information, you might check out my Master’s thesis, which can be found through the link below. Specifically, take a look at section III, beginning with " Origins of Metaprogramming: The Multigraph Architecture". I give an overview of a few papers that basically describe the conceptual evolution of GME over time for metamodeling.

http://www.isis.vanderbilt.edu/publications/archive/Emerson_MJ_5_0_2005_GME_MOF__A.pdf

You can also read the original papers that were the source of the information, all of which are cited in the thesis and can be found through the ISIS website publication archive (http://www.isis.vanderbilt.edu/publications.asp).

Good luck!

Hi Simon,

I find information about what's new from version 3 to 5 in GME 5 UserManualGuide, which you can download from http://www.isis.vanderbilt.edu/Projects/gme/GMEUMan.pdf. You can also find the manual from the doc fold of GME program files after you setup GME. Whether there is information before version 3 in GME 3, you can refer to http://repo.isis.vanderbilt.edu/downloads?tool=GME .

Regards,

Zhumei
